In an effort to recognize outstanding dogs in our breed, the American Wirehaired Pointing Griffon Association has implemented an Awards Program open to all Wirehaired Pointing Griffons who are owned by AWPGA members in good standing. Board of Directors, Officers and Award & Recognition Committee member owned dogs are eligible for all awards. All applicants must use the official application forms which must be completed in full, signed and submitted with all appropriate documentation sent to the Awards & Recognition Committee by the specified deadline.
The AWPGA Awards Program was revised effective September 5, 2017. The revisions affected the qualification criteria for various awards, point schedules, application forms, and the removal and addition of some performance titles for Award Program categories. A copy of the Awards Program, as currently in effect, and the award applications may be found by clicking HERE. Applications for 2017 awards and lifetime awards earned before December 31, 2017, must be submitted by May 1, 2018.
NOTE: The Awards Committee will honor qualifying points and titles earned before September 5, 2017 under and in accordance with the prior version of the Awards Program.
